Certification Details ARRT BLS (AHA) Job Details This position accurately applies ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis, including skills required in performing a variety of technical procedures, resulting in the highest quality diagnostic radiograph, with the least amount of radiation exposure to the patient. Performs radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures utilizing accurate application of ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis. Positions patient and equipment appropriately to accurately demonstrate the area being examined, requiring extensive anatomic positioning skills. Provides appropriate radiation protection for patient and staff during radiation exposures according to prescribed safety standards. Adjusts technical factors to provide appropriate exposure by use of independent judgment, knowledge of human anatomy, effect of disease on the radiograph and the principles of radiation as well as the specific operation of all radiologic equipment within the department. Job Requirements 1 Years of X-ray Experience - Required Surgery Experience - Required ARRT & BLS (AHA) - Required Work History Skills Checklist, current to 1 year, pertinent to specialty 2 Supervisory References, from the past 12 months of employment License / Certifications (ARRT & BLS(AHA) - Facility will not pend license / certs) Candidates' Permanent Address (Facility will not consider local candidates - 50 mile radius restriction) Schedule Information ALL SCHEDULING REQUESTS MUST BE MADE AT THE TIME OF SUBMISSION (Facility will NOT approve scheduling requests at / after time of offer / Please obtain this information prior to submittal / Requests after offer can be cause for rescinded offer) Unit Specific Information Practices sterile technique. Additional Details Located on 225 acres of wooded campus in Midland, Michigan, the 324-bed Medical Center offers a broad range of primary care and specialty care services, as well as 24-hour emergency care and Level II trauma care. Facility Specific Requirement : Cannot accept local candidates that live within 50 miles of the facility.
