Overview
Key Responsibilities for a Behavior Technician
- Direct Client Support : Provide one-on-one support to clients during therapy sessions, helping them develop adaptive behaviors and skills.
- Data Collection and Analysis : Accurately record and track client behavior and progress during therapy sessions, ensuring data integrity for analysis by the supervising BCBA.
- Behavioral Observation : Observe client behavior closely, identifying triggers and patterns to inform treatment strategies.
- Implement Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) : Execute strategies outlined in BIPs designed by the supervising BCBA to address behavioral goals and objectives.
- Communication : Maintain open communication with supervisors, team members, and caregivers regarding client progress, concerns, and any relevant information.
