Senior Frontend Software Engineer

What you will do at MyPrize:

• Implement UX features that directly impact the user experience for millions of people
• Develop features in a modern framework (Svelte / SvelteKit)
• Review other software engineers’ code to maintain high quality engineering standards.
• Work as a fully embedded team member of a highly skilled, tight-knit group of professionals.
• You will be trusted to design, learn, and execute independently - bringing features to life end-to-end.

What you bring to MyPrize:

• 4 years of experience as a frontend software engineer
• We use Svelte / SvelteKit as our frontend framework, but experience with similar SPA technology such as React, VueJS, Angular, etc. is acceptable
• An understanding of modern frontend build tools (e.g. Vite), CSS libraries/frameworks (e.g. Tailwind), integrating REST APIs, git and GitHub, as well as unit and integration testing (e.g. Vitest)
• Proficient in using the terminal and command line utilities (MacOS / Linux)
• Willing to work a schedule that overlaps part of the day with United States-based employees
• Can engage in discussing engineering decisions, strategy, and tradeoffs intelligently and calmly.

The salary range for this role is commensurate with experience: $100,000 - $150,000
