About the Role:
">Fulfill a vital function in our operations by working as an Equipment Mechanic with MYR Group. As a member of our team, you'll travel to project sites across Northern California, Oregon, and Washington, supporting our field teams with maintenance, repairs, and inspections. Your expertise will ensure our fleet equipment operates safely and efficiently.
">Responsibilities:
">We're looking for someone with five years of experience in heavy truck repair, automotive repair, or equipment repair, or completion of a vocational/technical school program or apprenticeship. You'll be responsible for performing routine and preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs on various types of fleet equipment. Additionally, you may provide oversight for less experienced mechanics and identify mechanical problems using computer diagnostic equipment.
">Requirements:
">This position requires strong mechanical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and proficiency in operating company vehicles and equipment. A valid Class B Commercial Driver License (CDL) is desired but not required. You must also have basic computer or data entry skills, solid knowledge of design, adjustment, operation, maintenance, and repair of vehicles and equipment, and a good understanding of applicable regulatory guidelines and rules.
