About the Role:
We're seeking an experienced Equipment Specialist to provide exceptional maintenance and repair services for our fleet equipment. This role involves traveling throughout Northern California, Oregon, and Washington states, working closely with our field teams to ensure the successful operation of our equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs on various types of fleet equipment.
- Identify mechanical problems using computer diagnostic equipment or visual inspection.
- Maintain records of time and materials used on each job, the condition of the equipment, and the repairs performed.
- Track information in computer software and conduct safety inspections of equipment.
- Participate in training programs and keep current with hazardous material training requirements.
In this role, you'll have the opportunity to work independently and without direct supervision, utilizing your skills and experience to deliver high-quality results. We're looking for someone with a strong background in general heavy truck repair, automotive repair, or equipment repair, or equivalent trade school/technical school time.
