Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests arriving during the overnight hours, providing a warm and friendly demeanor.
- Handle guest check-in and check-out processes accurately and efficiently, completing all necessary documentation.
- Assist guests with inquiries, requests, and concerns, providing accurate information and timely resolution.
- Coordinate with other hotel departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.
- Perform night auditing duties, including reconciling and balancing daily financial transactions and verifying the accuracy of guest accounts.
- Generate reports summarizing daily financial activity, occupancy levels, and other relevant data for management review.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies or errors in guest accounts, payments, or records.
- Prepare and distribute accurate and timely reports to management and relevant departments.
- Monitor the hotel's security and safety systems during the overnight hours, reporting any incidents or concerns.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent. Additional education in hospitality or related field is a plus.
- Previous experience in guest service or front desk role is required. Night auditing experience is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in hotel property management systems (PMS) and accounting software.
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills, with the ability to reconcile and balance financial transactions accurately.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to interact with guests in a professional and courteous manner.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently during overnight shifts.
- Flexibility to work varying schedules, including weekends and holidays.
- Knowledge of hotel operations, procedures, and industry standards.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
