Job Overview :
The Senior Regional Medical Billing Lead-East Coast is responsible for overseeing and managing the medical billing operations within a specified region. This role involves ensuring compliance with billing regulations, optimizing revenue cycle processes, and leading a team of Junior Billing professionals to meet organizational goals. The Senior Lead serves as a key liaison between the billing team, healthcare providers, insurance companies, and other stakeholders
Key Responsibilities :
Billing Accuracy & Compliance Oversight : Review and approve invoices, ensuring accurate billing codes, pricing, and customer details. Identify and correct errors prior to claim submission. Ensure accurate and timely billing for all customer accounts across the national network. Analyze billing data to identify trends, errors, and opportunities for improvement.
Client Communication : Manage and resolve billing disputes with customers and payers promptly and effectively. Collaborate with coding, credentialing, and client care teams to enhance customer experiences.
Reporting & Analysis : Generate comprehensive billing reports and key performance indicators (KPIs) to track revenue performance. Analyze billing data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and potential revenue leakage. Present financial reports to senior management with actionable insights into billing performance.
Accounts Receivable Management : Reduce accounts receivable (A / R) across the entire client portfolio. Identify and address discrepancies collaboratively with teams, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to billing standards.
Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation and clarification.
Leadership & Team Management : Lead and manage billing specialists for your region, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations. Monitor team performance against key metrics and address any performance-related issues promptly.

Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Experience in managing billing operations
- Strong understanding of billing codes, regulations, and industry best practices
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
