About The Engagement:
Onsite 3-month engagement in Plano, Texas. Data center environment requiring 40/hours weekly, standard business hours with potential for evenings and weekends. Hourly rate of $40-50 based on experience.
Day-to-day management of cabling, data center buildout, racking, stacking, pulling structured cabling, and testing in line with provided documentation and schedules.
The candidate for this engagement must possess a strong background in structured cabling and technology infrastructure design, project management, and services delivery.
This engagement could translate to on-going project-based work through Myriad360 and/or permanent employment.
Other responsibilities include:
- Structured cable installation and troubleshooting including copper and fiber optic cabling, wiring diagrams and pull schedules, site buildouts including rack construction, ladder rack installation, and wire management
- Carries out remote hands tasks under the direction of Technical Project Leaders and Engineering necessary to support networks, IT infrastructure, computers, and electronics
- Work in conjunction with Myriad360’s Project Management Office (PMO) and other service team members to manage and communicate project deliverables
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Up to 90% global travel based on project and client requirements (varies based on candidate location)
- Active Passport
- Weekend, evening, and holiday workhours as required
Must be based in the United States.
Desired skills and experience:
- Minimum ten (10) years of data center services
- Deep physical layer 1 networking expertise
- Ability to work independently and balance various tasks across numerous projects & locations
- Ability to learn new technologies and solutions
- BISCSI certification a plus
- Cisco CCNA/CCNP and other certifications a plus
