Job Summary
Myrtle Beach Building Supply is seeking an experienced Warehouse Operations Lead to oversee our inventory control functions. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supervising inventory specialists and clerks, as well as managing the receiving process for all products.
Key Responsibilities
- Schedule and train inventory specialists, conducting performance reviews and HR functions.
- Review and approve cycle counts, inventory adjustments, short shipments, and returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Manage the receiving process, overseeing product tracking and storage.
- Purchase non-PO manufacturing products and non-stock items, working within established parameters.
- Analyze cycle count variances, communicating findings and solutions to management.
- Notify management of inventory adjustments due to damage, short shipment, returns, or other reasons.
Requirements
- Proven inventory control experience with strong product knowledge.
- Operational staff experience, preferably in a warehouse setting.
- Microsoft Office proficiency and trend procurement experience.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Leadership abilities, including team motivation and development.
