What are the responsibilities and job description for the Behavioral Health Associate position at Myrtue Medical Center?
SCHEDULE: Full-time; 40 hours per week; Flexible schedule with some evenings required.

The Behavioral Health Associate performs a variety of patient care and departmental activities directly related to the Community Support Services (CSS) programs which include but are not limited to: client assessments; facilitating behavioral health groups; direct service provider for various programs including but not limited to: BHIS (Behavioral Health Intervention Services), IPR (Intensive Psychiatric Rehabilitation), and SCL (Supportive Community Living); provides on-call services in rotation with other Behavioral Health Practitioners; documentation; data entry; case management; provides support to Behavioral Health Operations Coordinator, Behavioral Health Director and Practitioners.
Previous Human Service(s) experience required. Utilizes and builds upon knowledge acquired through formal education; Takes responsibility for pursuit of continuing education; Possesses technical skills and knowledge of screening/assessment mechanisms and data analysis/entry necessary to comply with program expectations. Bachelor's degree in Human Services (Psychology, Sociology, Counseling, Social Work, Criminal Justice, etc) with preferable one year Human Services experience.
The Behavioral Health Associate completes client assessments related to BHIS, IPR and SCL. Provides direct service to clients through BHIS, IRP and SCL. Facilitates groups for adults, adolescents, and children. Provides on-call services for Behavioral health Department. Provides case management to Behavioral Health clients as needed. Uses appropriate supplies, resources, equipment and references effectively. Organizes data and other documentation as appropriate. Note: This is a partial listing of key job areas.
