SCHEDULE: Schedule varies
To provide supervision, guidance and assistance in entering the Fitness Center. Assist with membership enrollment, POS and customer service to Fitness Center participants; ensure the general appearance of the facility, entry desk and vending areas are clean and in good working order, and performance documentation and record keeping as required.
On-the-job training is provided. Knowledge and use of exercise equipment preferred.
The Entry Desk Clerk ensures computers, entry software and vending equipment is in good working condition and notifies the Director of any apparent equipment malfunction. Provides information about the Fitness Center facility and services. Ensures all participating members are current, eligible and membership is paid. Ensures accurate check-in and check-out of all members. Keeps a record of daily participant numbers, completes guest passes and daily passes with necessary signatures and dates. Keeps accurate and timely record of membership payments, t-shirt sales, etc. Answers phone and receives messages in appropriate and courteous way. Note: This is a partial listing of key job areas.
