SCHEDULE : Full-time; 40 hours per week; Monday - Friday; 7 : 00 am - 3 : 30 pm
The Surgical Technologist (Scrub Tech)performs a variety of perioperative duties with limited direct patient care during the pre-operative, intra-operative and post-operative phases under the direct supervision of an RN.
Requirements
Certification of Surgical Technology. Certification in Basic Life Support is required within 3 months of the date of hire. No experience required other than formal education process. Understands and utilizes the nursing process; possesses technical skills and knowledge of equipment mechanisms necessary to deliver quality nursing care; demonstrates knowledge of and commitment to policies and procedures of nursing service and the hospital and clinic.
