Local Construction Company / Bookkeeper
Pay: $20/hour
Hours: Monday - Friday
Job Duties:
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks including the recording of financial transactions.
- Process accounts payable, including verifying invoices, matching purchase orders, and ensuring timely payments to vendors.
- Handle accounts receivable tasks, including issuing invoices, processing customer payments, and following up on overdue accounts.
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements monthly to ensure accurate financial records.
- Prepare financial reports and assist with month-end closing procedures.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date financial documentation.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
- Collaborate with the management team to provide financial insights and support.
Job Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and other accounting software.
- Strong knowledge of accounts receivable and accounts payable processes.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with financial regulations and compliance.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
