Local Construction Company / Safety Director
Pay: $18/hour
Hours: Monday - Friday 8-5
Job Duties:
- Act as a subject matter expert to employees on conventional safety practices.
- Maintain safety related paperwork, including OSHA 300 Logs and safety training certifications.
- Lead and/or assist in the development of safety policies, procedures, programs and training.
- Develop, maintain and continuously improve the safety protocols, procedures, and tools of the safety program.
- Train company employees on safe work practices and emergency procedures.
- Organize and track required safety training, to ensure certifications do not expire.
- Responsible for providing safety plans for projects, such as Fall Protection Plans, Confined Space Plans, etc.
- Record and manage all site safety documentation and provide detailed reports when necessary.
- Understand and develop safety plans from the EM-385-1-1
- Communicate safety trends and recommend corrective actions.
- Conduct accident/near miss investigations and obtain accident and injury reports from jobsites.
- Arrange drug screening for new hires.
Applicant Requirements:
- Must have a clean background.
- Pass a drug screen.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
