The HRBP serves as a strategic partner to leadership, driving organizational success by managing employee and labor relations. This role ensures a positive work environment, compliance with labor laws, and alignment of HR practices with business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor regulations.
  • Develop and implement HR policies, including employee handbooks and labor agreements.
  • Manage union relations, grievances, and contract interpretations.
  • Advise leadership on employee discipline, policies, and grievance procedures.
  • Oversee termination processes, exit interviews, and compliance with final check requirements.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR software data.
  • Manage FMLA and other leave-related compliance.
  • Investigate and resolve workplace concerns, fostering open communication.
  • Support the Plant HR Manager in employee relations and training initiatives.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • SHRM-SCP or SPHR certification is a plus.
  • 5 years of HR experience in a manufacturing environment (labor relations preferred).
  • Strong communication, project management, and compliance knowledge.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR software.
  • Bilingual skills preferred.

Other Requirements:

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Schedule flexibility as needed.

Salary : $85,000 - $95,000
