Our local client in Omaha, a thriving manufacturing company, is seeking a talented Financial Analyst to join their team. In this pivotal position, you'll be responsible for ensuring the efficient control, use, and management of financial resources at our production plant, with the goal of improving financial performance and internal controls. As a key member of their finance team, you'll work closely with the plant operations team, supporting the supply chain and collaborating with the corporate finance team to identify opportunities, analyze data, and implement actions to optimize spending and inventory management.

- Analyze manufacturing variations and product costs to drive efficiency and cost savings
- Contribute to month-end close, reporting, internal and external audits, and ad-hoc projects
- Implement, analyze, and audit plant operational and financial indicators to ensure internal control and the correct use of assets
- Conduct regular physical counts of inventories at plant locations to maintain reliability and good management of raw materials, finished products, and spare parts
- Analyze expenses and the factory budget to identify opportunities for cost control and the correct use of financial resources
- Identify risks and opportunities, and work with the plant operations team to establish controls and measures to safeguard the plant's resources
- Preferred Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 2-5 years of previous industry accounting and costing experience, with a focus on manufacturing costing, financial analysis, accounting reconciliation, and month-end close
- Manufacturing industry experience
Salary : $75,000 - $90,000
