Job Overview: All aspects of golf course maintenance on a daily basis to provide a premium golf experience to our guests including, but not limited to; mowing, trimmer work, edging, bunker maintenance, divot filling, sodding, course set up, landscaping and construction projects.
Schedule: Monday - Friday 5:20 AM - 2:30 PM, Saturday & Sunday's 5:20 AM - 9:30 AM.
Create Your Path: The Work You’ll Do:
- Operates mowers and trimmers to maintain greens, aprons, tees, around tees, fence lines, banks and hillsides; edges cart paths; rakes, edges and maintains sand bunkers.
- Involved in the daily setup of the course which includes but is not limited to: cutting cups, setting tee blocks, filling divots on fairways and tee boxes, and emptying trash.
- Maintains fuel and fluid levels for all types of equipment on a daily basis; reports equipment problems and failures to Equipment Supervisor immediately.
- Waters and fertilizes tees, greens, fairways, and rough.
- Marks the course for cart control; moves cart control barriers; and may mark hazard and drop areas.
- Helps in project work; assists in the construction of new greens, tees and fairways; grades and prepares soil base; lays sod; and seeds tees, greens and fairways.
Required Experience:
- Prior experience of grounds keeping/landscaping work which includes the safe operation of mowers, trimmers, and similar equipment.
- Must be willing to commit 6 day work week, which includes one half day weekend shift
- Working knowledge of and ability to use hand and power tools and equipment.
- Ability to operate trucks and light motorized equipment.
- Valid Class D driver’s license may be required with a good driving record.
- Ability to perform and/or manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions while standing 75% of the time.
