Starting pay up to $18.00 an hour with a $1,000 signing bonus.

Job Overview: Provide guest service in line with SMSC GE’s culture of Purpose, Vision, and Values. Assists guest in the front office by performing check-in and check-out functions. Collects payment on all transactions. Applies a high-level guest experience and keeps current with all casino and hotel promotions within a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Uses effective sale tactics to upsell hotel offerings. This position will work 7am-3:30pm or 2:30pm-11:00pm, weekends needed.
Illuminate Your Future: What You'll Do:
- Arranges and manages all guest arrivals and departures, and provides an enhanced guest
experience.
- Greets and communicates current hotel amenities, services, events, dining, entertainment,
policies, and travel directions to guests. Issues casino coupons and sells gift cards. Maintains
a working knowledge of the SMSC Enterprise.
- Utilizes software systems to properly access reservations, guest and group accounts, room
availability, and related information. Computes guest billing, collects payments by cash and
credit card and makes necessary adjustments. Completes daily paperwork and reconciles
cash bank.
- Resolves guest issues and concerns. Facilitates emergency calls from hotel guests, notifying
appropriate staff when necessary. Enters wake up calls. Assembles key packets and creates
additional keys for guests.
- Properly identify guests at check-in by reviewing valid identification. Ensures guest data is
properly entered into systems and validates against player tracking system.

Job Requirements:
- Minimum one year guest service and cash handling experience.
- Ability to speak, write and read English clearly.
- Ability to communicate with a diverse population.
- Working knowledge of basic computer operation.
