Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes or customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
- Assist customers with menu selections and provide recommendations based on their preferences.
- Monitor customer behavior and ensure compliance with alcohol laws and regulations.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and giving change.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food orders when necessary.
- Manage inventory levels of bar supplies and communicate needs to management.
- Uphold food safety standards by following proper handling procedures.
Experience
- Previous bartending experience in a nightclub or restaurant setting is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of food handling and food safety practices is essential.
- Familiarity with brewing techniques and retail math is a plus.
- Strong time management skills to efficiently serve multiple customers during busy periods.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage with patrons in a friendly manner.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
