Mystic Valley Regional Charter School in Malden, MA was founded in 1998. The school serves over 1,400 students in Kindergarten through Grade 12. Job Summary:
Mystic Valley Athletics seeks an experienced Varsity Softball Head Coach for the 2023 season. A strong candidate would bring high school level / college level playing or coaching experience, leadership and communication skills, and a positive and energetic attitude daily.
Responsibilities:
· Plan and schedule a regular practice program
· Develop workout and training regiments, oversee program development
· Manage travel logistics – works with AD
· Equipment / Uniform Inventories
· Support and adhere to School Policies
· Perform additional coaching duties as necessary
· Score Reports – Postgame using direct link
Requirements:
· Available for early game day departures
· Must take NFHS COVID-19 Coaches Certification Course (within year 2)
· Must take NFHS Concussion Certification Course (within year 1)
· Must become CPR / First Aid Certified (within yea 1)
· Understanding of Mystic Valley’s Mission & Philosophy in support to student-athlete success
Preferences:
· Past playing experience (college / high school)
· Coaching experience at the high school or higher level
The position will be evaluated yearly and will be an annual appointment.
