What are the responsibilities and job description for the Night Cleaning Crew position at Mystical Mops Cleaning Serivces, LLC?
We are looking for a Janitor, or custodian, to carry out basic cleaning tasks. The goal is to keep our building in a clean and orderly condition. This position involves coverage at multiple locations within the area. This position offers 15 hours per week, with the potential for additional hours at other locations.
Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming in commercial and industrial settings.
- Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, break rooms, and common areas by restocking supplies and sanitizing surfaces.
- Conduct floor care activities such as buffing, stripping, and waxing to ensure floors are well-maintained and presentable.
- Carry out custodial duties including trash removal, recycling, and general upkeep of the facility.
- Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as needed to support the overall operation of the building.
- Respond promptly to cleaning requests or emergencies to maintain a clean environment.
- Ensure all cleaning equipment is properly maintained and stored after use.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or industrial cleaning is preferred but not required.
- Must have Reliable transportation
- Speaks English
- Knowledge of custodial practices and procedures is an asset.
- Familiarity with floor care techniques such as buffing and waxing is advantageous.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- A positive attitude and willingness to work collaboratively with others in a team-oriented environment.
- Must be able to use a ProTeam backpack vacuum.
- Must be able to work evenings.
- Must be able to daily communicate with management.
- Must be able to self-manage time.
- Must be able to follow direction from management.
- Must be able to work with little supervision.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 per week
