Mythic’s media practice will look to bridge the gap between brand strategy and exceptional media execution to deliver growth for our clients. You will drive the development of our staffing, positioning, and media capabilities roadmap while owning the business unit P&L. In this role, you will lead media strategy, planning, and execution across a diverse portfolio of clients with final accountability for both media performance and client retention. Fluency in common media platforms across search, social, and programmatic along with measurement planning and media mix modeling are a must for the role. You’ll be responsible for ensuring alignment with client priorities and collaborating with Mythic’s creative, strategy, and account teams to deliver integrated campaigns. The right candidates will have prior experience running a media practice with a focus on scalability and a passion for driving thought leadership through innovation and curiosity.Duties / Responsibilities : Establish the roadmap for building a full-funnel Performance Media department with capabilities in Planning, OOH, CTV, Audio, Programmatic, Social and Search.Recruit, hire, and oversee the development of media talent (strategists, activation specialists, and analysts).Drive new business media strategy and participate in pitching.Accelerate thought leadership and set the gold standard for full-funnel media strategies at Mythic – define the Mythic Way.Deliver media strategy and tactical plans that align with client goals and brand objectives, while integrating with creative, strategy, and account teams.Exceed expectations of KPI results through data-driven budget management, media mix optimizations, and innovative testing of audiences and creative.Evolve media best practices by staying ahead of industry trends, emerging technologies, and consumer behaviors.Track and analyze campaign and business results, leveraging available analytics tools and measurement platforms.Provide client reporting highlighting the connection between performance and strategy.Serve as the primary media contact for clients and maintain clear, consistent communication.Demonstrate eagerness to roll up your sleeves and lean in on what’s needed to deliver great results (from strategy to execution to project management).Required Skills / Abilities : Proven track record of developing and executing successful media strategies across a variety of platforms and client categories.Strong understanding of traditional and digital media, including buying search, social, display, video, audio, OOH, and influencer marketing.Expertise in media planning and buying tools, analytics platforms, and measurement technology.Knowledge of creative processes and a strong focus on how media and creative work together to deliver integrated campaigns.Exceptional client-facing communication skills, with experience presenting to senior leadership and objection-handling.Demonstrated success with hiring and coaching best-in-class talent.Deep understanding of industry trends, media landscape shifts, and new technologies.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, managing multiple priorities simultaneously.Ideal candidates have been hands-on keys with at least one of the most common digital platforms in the last 18 months.Education / Experience : Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or related field.
