Senior Business Analyst (BSI-Tax Factory)

Clover Consulting (a Myticas Company) is seeking a highly experienced Senior Business Analyst for a long-term contract opportunity with a major client based in Lansing, Michigan. This role is remote and expected to run for 12 months, with a strong potential for long-term extensions.
Years of Experience: 16 years in a related field.
Position Overview:
The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in BSI-Tax Factory and Infor Version 11 application upgrades, along with extensive experience supporting large-scale implementations and system enhancements. This individual must be capable of working independently, managing complex tasks, and contributing creative and strategic input to achieve business goals.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze and evaluate business systems and user needs; formulate systems to align with overall business strategies.
- Utilize business process reengineering techniques to identify innovative technology solutions that improve operational effectiveness.
- Conduct business process mapping and reengineering across legacy, core, and emerging technologies.
- Prepare solution options, identify risks, and conduct financial analyses such as cost/benefit and ROI.
- Write detailed documentation of user needs, program functions, and the steps required for system development or modification.
- Prepare and document functional and technical specifications for reporting and data warehouse initiatives.
- Provide support and enhancements for business intelligence and reporting solutions.
- Assist in the development of RFPs and manage end-user reporting tools and platforms.
- Collaborate with IT and business project teams to understand reporting and data warehousing requirements, proposing effective solutions.
- Document and perform knowledge transfer of developed solutions to the Enterprise Reporting Team.
- Work under general supervision with a high degree of independence and creativity; typically reports to a project manager.
Required Experience:
- Extensive experience with BSI-Tax Factory (15 years).
- Strong background in Infor Version 11 application upgrades.
- Hands-on involvement in multiple Infor Global HR, Benefits (BN), Leave/Absence (LP), and Payroll implementations.
- 15 years working with Lawson Versions 8, 9, and 10 in HR, Benefits, Payroll, Absence/Leave, and Personnel modules.
- 3 years of CloudSuite implementation experience, specifically GHR and Payroll.
- Familiarity with relational databases, client-server concepts, and industry-standard practices and procedures.
