Job Description
- Provide technical solutions to ensure the highest standards for Environmental, Health and Safety are achieved.
- Provide technical support to maintenance and operations to improve equipment uptime, capability, reliability, and throughput.
- Mentor supervisors, craft, and operation leaders to improve the team's overall understanding of electrical systems.
- Provide technical ownership of manufacturing equipment and systems.
- Improve equipment electrical and automation systems performance and reliability through planned projects.
- Develop long-term solutions and mitigation plans for root causes of equipment peakdowns.
- Provide troubleshooting support during equipment peakdowns.
- Prepare detailed plans for major equipment outages using scheduling and project management principles.
- Provide technical support for continuous improvement projects as part of a cross-functional team.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Strong technical competency requirements including engineering fundamentals, assessing safety hazards, and troubleshooting electrical systems.
- PREFERRED knowledge and troubleshooting skills of overhead and gantry cranes.
- Experience with frequency drives, combustion systems, and instrumentation control.
- Familiarity with National Electrical Code, including NFPA70E.
- Proficient with MS Excel, MS Word, and familiar with MS Project.
