Myticas's direct client based out of Madison, WI is currently seeking a FullStack/.Net Application Developer for a 100% Remote contract position.
NOTE: 100% remote; will work CT hours, open to candidates from all time zones.
Job Description:
The full-stack developer works directly with UX, application specialists, and other software developers to improve our cloud-based SaaS solution. In addition, you will work with the engineering team to ensure a smooth migration to this new technology.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Write code and test automation as necessary to deliver features within a Scrum-based environment.
- Analyze story/task requirements and produce simple, maintainable code using OOP.
- Collaborate with team members (UX, QA, DevOps) and other engineering teams to ensure features are delivered efficiently and with maximum impact.
Required Qualifications/Experience:
- Education: Bachelor of Science or equivalent job experience
- Experience: 5 years of development experience or equivalent shipping web-based applications (preferably in a SaaS environment)
- 1 years of experience in an Agile or other related environment preferred
- Experience developing single-page applications in React.js with a strong command of related web technologies (JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, etc.)
- Experience developing .NET APIs with a strong command of the .NET Core ecosystem and object-oriented design and thinking.
- Proficiency in building continuous integration pipelines (TeamCity or Azure DevOps preferred)
- Passion for and experience in creating test automation
Nice to have:
- Experience with ORMs is a plus
- Understanding of microservices and distributed systems
