We have a direct client in Ravenswood, WV in need of an Electrical Engineer. This is an On-Site, Full-Time, Direct-Hire role. The candidate will provide technical solutions to ensure the highest standards for Environmental, Health and Safety are achieved.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to maintenance and operations to improve equipment uptime, capability, reliability, and throughput.
- Mentor supervisors, craft, and operation leaders to improve the team's overall understanding of electrical systems.
- Provide technical ownership of manufacturing equipment and systems.
- Improve equipment electrical and automation systems performance and reliability through planned projects.
Requirements
- Engineering Fundamentals (BSEET or BSEE)
- Assessing and reporting safety hazards associated with low to medium-voltage equipment
- Preferred knowledge and troubleshooting skills of overhead and gantry cranes
- Experience with frequency drives, combustion systems, and instrumentation control
