Clinical Therapist / Mental Health Counselor
Are you a dedicated and empathetic therapist with a passion for helping individuals navigate challenges related to mental health and substance use?
We are seeking an experienced clinical therapist to join us full-time at our supportive and holistic residential treatment center, where our mission is to empower struggling teens and adolescents to achieve lasting recovery.
About the Role:
In this full-time role, you will join a multidisciplinary team to provide evidence-based therapeutic services in a safe and healing environment. You’ll be instrumental in helping teens and families through personalized care, fostering recovery, and promoting overall well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments and create personalized treatment plans for clients.
- Provide individual and group therapy using evidence-based practices to support clients with mental health and substance use concerns.
- Lead family therapy sessions and group support programs as needed.
- Collaborate with a diverse team of professionals, including medical staff, case managers, and other therapists, to ensure integrated care.
- Maintain accurate client records in accordance with confidentiality guidelines and ethical standards.
- Participate in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing training to support professional growth.
Qualifications:
- Education: Master's degree or higher in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
- Preferred Credentials: Active and valid professional license in New Hampshire (e.g., LCSW, LMHC, LPC, or similar).
- Background working with children/adolescents preferred, as is previous experience in mental health or substance use disorder treatment settings.
- Proficiency in trauma-informed care and therapeutic modalities such as CBT, DBT, and Motivational Interviewing.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage a client caseload effectively with empathy and professionalism.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities within a team environment.
