With over six locations across California, we’ve become known for our signature Korean Sundubu-jjigae (soft tofu soup) and other comforting Korean dishes. Our mission is to bring authentic Korean flavors to the community, offering a warm, family-oriented dining experience where guests can enjoy bold and delicious food in a casual, welcoming atmosphere.
We are excited to open our new location in Costa Mesa, CA, in March 2025, and are looking for experienced servers to join our team. As we continue to grow, we remain committed to delivering exceptional service and high-quality Korean cuisine to all of our guests.
Position Overview:
We are seeking experienced servers who thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a passion for Korean food. In this role, you will help create memorable dining experiences for our guests by providing excellent service, showcasing our signature dishes, and sharing the rich flavors of Korean cuisine. Whether you’re recommending the perfect dish or ensuring the comfort of our guests, you’ll play a key role in making every visit special.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat guests with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Take food and drink orders, offering guidance and recommendations from our Korean menu
- Serve food and beverages efficiently, ensuring that each dish is presented beautifully and accurately
- Provide guests with information about our Korean dishes, including the origins and flavors of Sundubu-jjigae and other menu items
- Maintain excellent communication with kitchen staff to ensure a smooth dining experience
- Process transactions and handle cash/credit payments with accuracy
- Ensure dining area is clean, organized, and welcoming
- Comply with health and safety regulations, including food handling and sanitation requirements
- Perform additional tasks as necessary to support a positive dining experience
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a server in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant
- California Food Handlers Card (must be obtained during employment)
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact with guests in a friendly, professional manner
- Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
- Passion for Korean food and culture
- Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Must be at least 18 years old
Preferred:
- Bilingual (especially Korean or Spanish) is a plus
- Previous experience working in Korean cuisine or Korean restaurants is a bonus
- Knowledge of Korean food and drink pairings is a plus
