At N-able, we empower Managed Service Providers (MSPs) with powerful IT management and security solutions to help them support and grow their businesses. As an Inbound Sales Development Representative, you’ll play a crucial role in fueling our sales pipeline by qualifying and nurturing inbound leads, ensuring high-potential prospects are seamlessly passed to our sales team.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Qualification & Engagement
- Promptly respond to inbound leads (5 minutes or less) from multiple channels, including website inquiries, email campaigns, events, webinars, and live chat.
- Conduct cold qualification calls to understand business needs, IT challenges, and potential fit for N-able solutions.
- Leverage a consultative sales approach to assess buying intent and position N-able’s value proposition effectively.
Pipeline & CRM Management
- Accurately document lead interactions, qualification details, and next steps in Salesforce.
- Manage follow-up processes, including scheduling demos and coordinating handoffs to Account Executives.
- Leverage sales enablement tools like Outreach to engage with potential customers through targeted email sequences and personalized outreach.
Customer-Centric Approach
- Act as the first point of contact for inbound inquiries, providing a professional and helpful experience.
- Educate prospects on how N-able solutions help MSPs optimize IT management, security, and automation.
- Address objections and provide relevant product insights to move prospects forward in the sales process.
Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
- Work closely with the Marketing team to align messaging, improve lead quality, and provide feedback on campaign effectiveness.
- Partner with Account Executives to ensure a seamless transition of qualified leads and maximize conversion rates.
- Contribute to sales strategy by sharing insights on lead trends, objections, and engagement success.
What You Bring to the Team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to build rapport quickly over phone, email, and chat.
- Excellent listening and problem-solving skills to uncover customer pain points and align solutions accordingly.
- Proven ability to qualify leads effectively and manage multiple conversations simultaneously.
- Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM tools to track lead activity and maintain pipeline visibility.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and goal-driven with a strong work ethic.
Preferred Experience
- 1 years of experience in a sales development, inside sales, or customer-facing role—preferably in B2B SaaS, IT services, or cybersecurity.
- Familiarity with Managed Service Providers (MSPs) or IT channel sales is a strong plus.
- Track record of success in lead qualification, prospect engagement, and pipeline contribution.
