The Role: Financial Systems Manager If you thrive in fast-paced environments, love solving problems, and are a systems pro, we want you! You’ll be the glue connecting Finance, Sales, and Ops teams, ensuring smooth processes across the board. From managing trade spend and order-to-cash systems to optimizing workflows, you’ll play a critical role in scaling our operations.
What You’ll Do
Financial Operations Management
- Own the full financial process, from trade spend to invoicing, deductions, and collections.
- Collaborate with Finance, Sales, and Customer Ops to streamline the order-to-cash and procure-to-pay processes.
Systems Optimization
- Become the go-to expert for NetSuite, Promomash, SPS Commerce, and Bill.com.
- Troubleshoot issues and drive system integrations to keep data clean and processes smooth.
Cross-Department Project Leadership
- Lead cross-functional projects to improve financial accuracy and reduce manual work.
- Keep teams aligned on timelines, expectations, and responsibilities.
Trade Spend & Deduction Management
- Oversee weekly trade uploads and reporting, ensuring accurate financial records.
- Investigate and resolve customer deductions, supporting month-end processes.
Customer & Order Coordination
- Ensure smooth customer onboarding and timely order flows, including EDI setup.
- Resolve issues around manual orders, pricing, and promotions.
Vendor & Payables Oversight
- Manage vendor setup, billing, and 1099 reporting.
- Keep Bill.com processes running smoothly and work with accounting on AP coding.
What You Need to Succeed
- Experience: 5-7 years in business operations, finance operations, or systems implementation — preferably in CPG or a fast-growing startup.
- Systems Knowledge: Familiar with NetSuite, SPS Commerce, and tools like Bill.com.
- Finance Expertise: Solid understanding of accounting, trade deductions, and operational finance.
- Project Management: Skilled at juggling priorities and managing multiple stakeholders.
- Communication: Able to explain complex finance details to cross-functional teams.
- Process-Oriented: Enjoys streamlining workflows while balancing daily tasks and long-term improvements.
- Team Player: Comfortable collaborating across departments, especially Finance, Sales, and Ops.
