What are the responsibilities and job description for the Receptionist position at N&D?
Responsibilities:
- Adhere to all Visitor, Security, and Communication Protocols
- Greet on-site visitors, determines approved nature of business, and announces visitors to appropriate employee
- Answer incoming telephone calls in a cheerful and helpful way, determines purpose of the call, and forwards to appropriate staff or department.
- Complete assigned tasks with high quality and care
- Perform a variety of administrative duties as a member of the Service Operations team.
- Keep reception/lobby area free of clutter and debris
- Ad hoc tasks and projects as needed
Qualifications:
- Undergraduate degree preferred
- Possess a professional demeanor
- Skilled and efficient communicator
- Proficient in Word, Excel, & Outlook
- Committed to being detail oriented and to providing a quality work product
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- High attention to detail
- Ability to learn and comprehend insurance terminology
