What are the responsibilities and job description for the Student Intern - IT position at N&D?
Learning Objectives and Responsibilities
- Provides helpdesk support to users.
- Assists with on-boarding of new users.
- Install, test and configure new workstations, peripheral equipment and software.
- Document internal standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Manage PC set up and deployment for new employees using standard hardware and software.
- Maintain inventory of all equipment.
- Participates in special projects as requested by Manager or Chief Information Officer.
Qualifications:
- High school degree or equivalent; must be enrolled in an accredited university/college program.
- Proficient computer skills, including Windows 11 Operating Systems and Office.
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel
- Ambitious, Energetic, and willing to be part of the team.
- Troubleshoot and repair laptop hardware failures.
- Understanding of corporate network designs to troubleshoot user connectivity.
