What are the responsibilities and job description for the Irrigation Technician and Equipment Operator position at N-Drip?
As we continue to expand, we are looking to recruit a full-time Installation Technician to join our USA-based N-Drip / Connect™ team and help us lead the change in agriculture. We are specifically in need of an Installation Technician who also knows how to operate agricultural equipment.
Main Responsibilities
- Operate GPS-guided heavy machinery
- Maintain equipment, track equipment hours, request and execute repairs
- Safely transport equipment to and from project sites
- Assist with all other aspects of installations and maintenance as needed
- Operate irrigation systems at multiple farms/projects
- Observe regular system operation and report specified data
- Report irregular data, system malfunctions, or other issues promptly
Skills and Qualifications
- 1 years of heavy machinery operation of an excavator or other digging equipment.
- Demonstrate experience in irrigation systems preferred
- Safe and compliant operation of motor vehicle w/ trailer attached
- Previous experience in agricultural work preferred
- High-level communication skills
- Valid driver's license
