What are the responsibilities and job description for the Die Setter (3rd Shift) position at N-K Manufacturing Technologies?
Summary:
This position is responsible for removal and installation of molds including setting up the mechanical and electrical equipment associated with tooling.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Clean, remove and store molds properly.
- Submit tool repair orders as needed in the ERP system and fill out check sheets in ERP system.
- Install, clean and set-up molds per schedule and set-up work cell per instructions. Same as auxiliary equipment.
- Maintain tooling location and storage.
- Assist with material changes.
- Assist in preventative maintenance as required.
- Assist in loading and unloading molds or equipment as required.
- Assigned and related duties as directed by management.
- Follow all 5S requirements.
- Assist in problem solving and corrective actions for customer generated or initial corrective actions.
- Assure proper identification all materials; includes manufactured product, hoppers, grinders and material containers.
