Position Description
N&M is looking to fill a Systems Specialist/Tier 2 Help Desk role within our I.T. Department. This position will work M-F, 1st Shift hours. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual looking to work in I.T. with a financially stable and highly respected trucking company in the Fox Valley.
This position will support the communications and computer needs of the company under the guidance of the I.T. Network Administrator and Director of Traffic & Marketing. This includes providing tier 2 help desk support, software and hardware technical assistance, configuration and support of the company phone system as well as other system administrative tasks.
Qualifications:
- Associate degree in Computer-related field with emphasis on Help Desk preferred.
- CompTIA A certification or equivalent a plus
- Advanced understanding of computers and networking
- Familiarity with VMware vCenter/vSphere
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 and other cloud computing platforms
- Good keyboarding/typing skills, clerical skills as well as organization and problem-solving skills
- Advanced skills and knowledge of PC operating systems
- Working knowledge of Android mobile operating system
- Willingness to learn and be adaptable.
