The Night Auditor plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the hotel during nighttime hours. Responsibilities
- Conduct nightly audits of all financial transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance with hotel policies.
- Manage front desk operations, including checking guests in and out, addressing inquiries, and resolving any issues that may arise.
- Provide outstanding guest services by assisting guests with their needs and ensuring a pleasant stay.
- Maintain accurate records of room occupancy, rates, and reservations.
- Handle phone calls efficiently, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette while addressing guest inquiries or concerns.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and service delivery throughout the hotel.
- Prepare reports for management detailing occupancy rates, revenue generated, and any discrepancies found during audits.
Requirements
- Previous experience in guest services or customer service roles within the hospitality industry is preferred.
- Familiarity with night audit procedures and hotel management systems is a plus.
- Strong communication skills with an emphasis on phone etiquette and interpersonal interactions.
- Ability to work independently during nighttime hours while maintaining attention to detail.
- Proficient in handling front desk responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
- A background in hospitality management or related fields is advantageous.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.50 - $15.00 per hour
