Retail Sales and Customer Service Representative

We are seeking a friendly and outgoing Retail Customer Service Representative to join our dynamic team. As the face of our store, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service, driving sales, and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Duties

• Greet customers, respond to inquiries, and address any concerns or issues in a professional and courteous manner
• Utilize strong retail math skills to accurately handle cash, operate a cash register, and process transactions
• Provide customers with product information, demonstrate features and benefits, and recommend products based on their needs
• Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including restocking shelves and tidying up the store
• Utilize phone etiquette skills to effectively communicate with customers via phone and resolve any issues
• Identify and seize opportunities to upsell and increase sales
• Maintain a strong knowledge of products and their features, including product descriptions and specifications
• Utilize basic math skills to accurately count and manage cash and inventory
• Communicate effectively with coworkers, including providing feedback and support to improve overall store performance

Qualifications

• Proven experience in retail customer service, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
• Strong retail math skills, including the ability to handle cash and operate a cash register
• Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
• Ability to sell products effectively and consistently meet or exceed sales targets
• Ability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Basic math skills, including the ability to count and manage cash and inventory
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
