Capitol District Supply is hiring an Inside Sales Associate for our Schenectady location.

Responsibilities include:
- Assist Outside Sales team write up customer quotes and orders.
- Work with the sales team to gather information, appropriate sales resources, and provide job quote bids.
- Provide Spec sheets and technical information to customers as required.
- Generate new and repeat sales through leads provided via email and phone
- Become educated on the Plumbing, Heating & HVAC products the company sells
- Determine customer requirements for a job and provide recommendations, product availability, pricing, and quotes to the customers.
- Assist customers at the Counter by writing up and shipping/scheduling orders.
- Support the Counter team as an integral part of the team on a part time basis. Including:
- Writing up and completing walk in orders
- Taking customers orders over the phone
- Shipping orders that are being picked up
- Handling payment as required for orders
- Be a part of the rotating Saturday schedule

Pay Range for this position is $25-30/hour.

Requirements:The ideal candidate will have:
- Knowledge of Plumbing, Heating & HVAC products
- Prior Sales Experience
- Excellent Customer Service & Communication Skills
- Be proficient in basic computer and email skills
- Attention to Detail
- Be a Team Player
- The physical requirements of this position are:
- Sitting and standing for long periods of time.
- Be able to lift 25 pounds
- Bending
Salary : $25 - $30
