Job Responsibilities
- Driving and creating innovative designs
- Creating drawings, bills of materials and project management
- Acting as technical support for the sales team
- Evaluating product design relative to material selection, cost and reliability
- Working with the manufacturing team to ensure product manufacturability and troubleshoot issues.
- Following through on field tests and developing new ideas and processes
- Overseeing projects from design to manufacturing and support production
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering (BSME)
- 1–3 years experience in design engineering
- Proficiency in 3D CAD software
- Experience in creating engineering drawings, bills of materials (BOMs), and project management
- Strong understanding of design for manufacturability (DFM)
- Hands-on experience with sheet metal, structural fabrication, welding, and manufacturing equipment techniques
- Experience working with vendors and customers
