Responsibilities
- Greet clients warmly as they enter the salon, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Manage appointment scheduling and confirmations efficiently to optimize salon operations.
- Handle cash register transactions accurately, including processing payments and issuing receipts.
- Assist in product demonstrations and upselling salon products to enhance client experience.
- Maintain an organized reception area, ensuring it is clean and inviting at all times.
- Provide information about services offered, including promotions and special events.
- Utilize POS systems for managing sales transactions and inventory tracking.
- Address client inquiries over the phone with excellent phone etiquette, providing information as needed.
- Collaborate with salon staff to ensure smooth operations and exceptional client service.
Experience
- Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role is preferred.
- Familiarity with cash register operations and retail sales practices is advantageous.
- Experience in supervising staff or assisting in training new employees is a plus.
