Assistant Coach

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Assistant Coach to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for youth sports and physical education, along with experience working with children aged 3 and above in various athletic disciplines. This role is essential in supporting the head coach / program manager in developing athletes' skills, promoting teamwork, and fostering a positive environment for all participants.

Duties

• Assist the head coach in planning and conducting training sessions and practices.
• Provide instruction and guidance to athletes in specific sports such as t-ball, soccer, basketball, cricket, golf, or gym activities.
• Monitor and evaluate athletes' performance, providing constructive feedback to enhance their skills.
• Foster a supportive and encouraging atmosphere that promotes teamwork and sportsmanship.
• Help organize team events, competitions, and community outreach programs.
• Ensure the safety of all participants by enforcing rules and regulations during practices and events.

Experience

• Previous experience in sports coaching or physical education is preferred.
• Background in childcare or experience working with students is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of various sports disciplines such as t-ball, soccer, basketball, cricket, cheerleading, or gym activities is beneficial.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to motivate young athletes are essential.
• A commitment to fostering an inclusive environment for all participants.

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
