WHAT YOU’LL DO
As our Truss Associate you will work as part of a team assembling roof and floor trusses according to engineered designs. This hands-on role involves reading blueprints, handling lumber, operating tools and equipment, and ensuring each truss is built to exact specifications.
THE NITTY GRITTY
- Assemble trusses by placing and securing lumber using nail guns, saws, and jigs
- Read and interpret truss blueprints and layout drawings
- Select and stage materials based on job specifications
- Inspect components for accuracy and quality throughout the process
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Follow company safety policies and wear appropriate PPE
- Work efficiently as part of a production line to meet daily goals and deadlines
WHAT YOU NEED
Qualifications:
· High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required
· Prior experience in construction, carpentry, or manufacturing is a plus
· Ability to read a tape measure and follow simple blueprints or drawings
· Comfortable using power tools and working in a physical environment
Interpersonal Skills:
· Strong verbal and written communication skills: ability to communicate with a wide variety of people
· Strong teamwork skills and a willingness to learn and grow
· A strong steward of Mans culture and core values
WORK ENVIRONMENT
This job operates in a fast-paced, hands-on warehouse setting with exposure to noise, dust, machinery, and equipment including but not limited to table saws and panel saws.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
This is a physically demanding job. This role requires the ability to lift up to 75-100lbs.
POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday 7:00am to 3:30pm with schedule flexibility.
