Certified Medication Aide

Job Title: Medication Aide

Location: Lewiston, Maine

Shift: Evening Shift

Contract Length: 13 Weeks

Hours per Week: 40

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer prescribed medications to residents according to established protocols.
• Monitor residents for any adverse reactions or side effects from medications.
• Maintain accurate records of medication administration and residents’ health status.
• Collaborate with nursing staff and healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care.
• Educate residents and their families about medication management and safety.
• Uphold all regulatory compliance and maintain a safe, clean, and respectful environment.

Qualifications:

• Valid Medication Aide certification.
• Previous experience in a healthcare or residential setting preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Commitment to providing compassionate care to residents.
