Cytotechnologist – Day Shift | Zanesville, OH
Shift: Monday-Friday day shift
An excellent opportunity is available for a Cytotechnologist to join a high-volume laboratory utilizing state-of-the-art instrumentation. This full-time position offers a structured weekday schedule with no weekends or holidays, providing stability and work-life balance.
Position Details:
- Employment Type: Full-time (32 hours/week) – Benefits eligible
- Schedule: Monday – Friday, Day Shift (No weekends or holidays)
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform microscopic evaluation of Pap smears (GYN and non-GYN screenings)
- Process Non-GYN specimens and assist with fine needle aspirates
- Register, accession, and process Cytology specimens as needed
- Operate and maintain ThinPrep processors, ThinPrep imager, Leica stainer, and SoftPath
- Support laboratory operations by covering for staff absences
Qualifications:
- ASCP Certification required
- Minimum one year of experience in Cytotechnology
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail in microscopic evaluation
