🧪 Cytotechnologist – Day Shift | Full-Time | Zanesville, OH
Join a high-volume, modern laboratory environment where your skills make a real impact. We are hiring a Cytotechnologist to work a 32-hour week (eligible for full benefits) with no weekend or holiday shifts required.
🧬 Key Responsibilities:
- Perform microscopic evaluation of Pap smears (primary duty)
- Screen GYN and non-GYN specimens and assist with fine needle aspiration procedures
- Support cytology specimen processing when needed (PTO, call-offs, volume overflow)
- Operate and maintain Thin Prep processors, Leica stainers, Thin Prep imager, and SoftPath system
- Handle pap smear registration, accessioning, staining, and strainer maintenance as necessary
🎯 What We’re Looking For:
- Minimum of 1 year of Cytology experience
- Proficiency in GYN and non-GYN screenings, FNA procedures, and cytology lab equipment
- ASCP certification required
📅 Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, Day Shift
- 32 hours/week (considered full-time with benefits)
Salary : $49,000 - $65,000
