Position Title: Director of Emergency Services

Location: Tallahassee, FL

Shift: Days

Annual Bonus: 15% (based on performance)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Director of Emergency Services to lead an acute care Emergency Department. This role involves overseeing service delivery, growth, personnel management, resource allocation, and maintaining high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in improving department metrics, patient experience, and staff development within a large emergency department setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and resolve department challenges, ensuring high-quality care.
• Mentor staff and provide performance feedback, fostering individual growth.
• Develop and implement strategies to enhance patient experience.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, accrediting, and safety standards.
• Oversee a performance improvement program to ensure consistent care delivery.
• Manage departmental operations and strive for operational excellence.
• Contribute to staffing and recruitment efforts to attract top talent.

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of recent Director experience in a large acute care Emergency Department.
• Proven track record of improving department metrics, patient experience, and employee engagement.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing required; Master's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or Business preferred.
• Current RN license and certifications in ACLS, PALS, and BLS required.
