Interventional Radiologist

Title : Interventional Radiology Technician

Location : Morristown, NJ, 07960,

Duration : 13-week Contract

Shift : 5-days a week shifts vary based on department needs with weekend & weekday on-call requirements.

Pay Range : $61.00 - $71.00 Per Hour, depending on experience and skills (DOE)!

Job Responsibilities :

Assist proceduralist during complex diagnostic and interventional vascular, neuro-interventional cases with scrubbing side by side with specialty proceduralist.

Strong knowledge with Floor and ceiling mounted fluoroscopic modality machines.

The ability to identify, retrieve, and circulate complex products during interventional procedural cases.

The ability to critically think during neuro-interventional cases and complex cases to assist proceduralist.

The ability to operate power injection of iodinated contrast media device during diagnostic and interventional procedures.

Strong communication skills using closed loop communication.

The ability to maintain sterile techniques and maintain infection prevention measures to set up procedural trays for case load.

Positively contribute to a multi-disciplinary team of nurses, radiologists, and vascular surgeons.

Knowledge of documentation in electronic medical records and send images to Sectra / PACs system.

Groin management post intervention.

Demonstrate the ability to provide high quality care in a fast-paced environment.

Experience, Licensure, Certification & Education

BLS from an approved AHS credentialed American heart association or a BLS accredited with skill demonstration in

basic life support measures.

Current Radiography (R) certification with ARRT.

MUST have radiographic licensure to operate x-ray fluoroscopic modalities.

3-5 years of experience as an Interventional Radiologic technologist or a Cardio-Vascular technologist with NJ radiographic licensure.

High School Diploma / GED.

Associate’s degree.

Completion of accredited radiographic program.
