Occupational Therapist – Certified Hand Therapist (CA License Required)

Location: Chico, California

Employment Type: Permanent Full-Time

Shifts: Full-time, Day Shift

Position Overview:

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Occupational Therapist to provide exceptional care to patients with varying diagnoses. This role involves evaluating and treating patients, addressing self-care, mobility, upper extremity function, and cognitive and behavioral needs to achieve meaningful outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and treat patients referred for occupational therapy services.
• Provide education and instruction to patients and caregivers for safe and effective care.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create tailored treatment plans.
• Demonstrate sensitivity and technical competence in addressing patient and family needs.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Active Occupational Therapy license in California (or Limited Permit)
• Current CPR certification

Preferred:

• 1 year of experience in acute care, rehabilitation, outpatient, or mental health settings

Skills & Abilities:

• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
• Expertise in addressing practical needs and achieving patient-centered outcomes
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment
