Principal Management Engineer – Troy, MI (Hybrid)
We are seeking a Principal Management Engineer to lead complex projects focused on operational and performance improvement. This role involves working closely with senior administrators and medical leaders to drive efficiency and enhance healthcare operations.
Location: Troy, MI (Hybrid – On-site Wednesdays)
Salary: $46.17 - $66.42 per hour (based on experience)
Employment Type: Direct Hire
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage complex projects involving senior administrators and medical leaders
- Perform technical analyses and provide expert consultation across HFHS departments
- Facilitate multi-disciplinary teams and drive process improvement initiatives
- Provide leadership and mentoring to consultants and analysts
- Summarize and present data for decision-making
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Minimum of five years of organizational performance improvement experience
- Two to three years of supervisory and/or consulting experience
- At least three years of revenue cycle experience (healthcare strongly preferred)
- Strong analytical skills and project management expertise
- Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or Supply Chain Management preferred
This is a hybrid role with on-site presence required on Wednesdays. The hiring process includes video interviews, with the possibility of a two-step interview process.
