Position Name: Radiology Technologist
Location: Charlotte, NC 28232
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Night / Mon – Thu 9pm-7:30am
Duties:
- Performs radiographic examinations with minimal supervision under the direction of the Radiologist.
- Coordinates daily activities to include performing examinations and associated clerical duties.
Essential Functions:
- Performs and assists with radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures.
- Documents patient history about specific procedures on requisition submitted by a physician.
- Confirms patient identification by verbal confirmation and validating proof of identity.
- Prepares and administers contrast media as required.
- Consult with radiologists and other physicians, as necessary.
- Selects and operates equipment as dictated by demands of individual procedures and demonstrates correct and adequate anatomic positioning skills.
- Maintains appropriate records as required by departmental standards.
- Physical Requirements Requires strenuous physical effort while assisting patients from wheelchairs and stretchers.
Required Credentials:
- BLS – AHA
- ARRT Certification
- Updated Resume
Salary : $53 - $57
